Discovery Transitions offers outpatient treatment programs for men and women seeking either to initiate or to continue recovery from alcoholism and/or drug addiction. As a transition program, we are ideal for anyone who has just completed an in-patient program and is ready to step down to a less intensive but highly structured continuation of treatment. Discovery Transitions is equally effective and available for those whose substance abuse problems are severe enough to require help but do not rise to the level of requiring hospitalization and residential treatment.
People with addiction come to us with a variety of associated problems and underlying issues, but the common denominator is addiction itself. Therefore, Discovery Transitions maintains a core philosophy of addiction treatment, but tailors its program to fit each individual’s needs. Based on each prospective client’s substance abuse history and addiction type, our counselors will help determine specifically what treatment is needed.
No one wants to let an addiction get in the way of their life. If you have had a short history of addiction, are at low risk for relapse, and can be counted on to attend therapy sessions faithfully,then outpatient treatment might be the ideal path to a new and better life. Addicts who fit this profile still need professional help, and they will benefit greatly from therapy sessions, but they are able to incorporate our outpatient treatment into the rest of their busy life and schedule. Outpatient rehab provides more freedom than inpatient treatment, but both types of rehab take addicts through a rigorous program that teaches them how to live a sober life and avoid relapse.

There are a lot of outpatient addiction treatment programs in Los Angeles, but we offer a unique combination of current, evidence-based treatment methodology and a friendly, casual environment. We also service the broader Southern California area including Ventura, Thousand Oaks, Woodland Hills, San Fernando Valley and Santa Monica. Alumni are encouraged to return to our facility and engage in recovery, share their successes, play pool, and use us as their sobriety home base.
